Winners this week
US-traded
Chegg (CHGG) is top #1 again - we keep mentioning it and passing, but they do seem to be on a good run with their mobile revenue:
It’s not catalyst territory given mobile seems to cover only a fraction of their revenue ($40M vs $600M+ TTM revenue). Still, positive momentum.
Ohers US-traded companies in the top 5 are not noteworthy with fairly small uptrends (ANGH, PLTK, IQ and MYPS)
Worldwide Markets
We’ll keep this one short - we looked at the top 5, and there was really nothing worth mentioning besides Globee.
Globee (5575.T) is a tiny cap $45M market cap company, and shows up twice in a row in the top 5. It’s due their app "abceed - TOEIC®・英検・英会話・英単語" which launched just over 2 weeks ago, contributing about $100K.
Given most of their revenue seems to be mobile, this uptrend is of interest but not a catalyst yet. We can see in past months patterns that Globee’s mobile revenue went up and down again. This could just be another iteration.
Ongoing Picks - Watch list
Drecom (3793.T) has been covered the last few weeks, so we’ll keep it short.
They have a clear ongoing catalyst with Wizardry Daphne Variants doing well in Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the stock is below less today than before that big hit (for their scale) happened. This makes no sense and we’re looking forward to the next earnings in May.
Feiyu (1022.HK), Gala Technology (2458.HK) and Qingci Games (6633.HK) - No update worth covering.
